Mission Ethiopia: we partnered financially with relief efforts sent to a town in Africa named Korah, which means cursed. The day I learned of Korah I happened to be eating a muffin for breakfast. That morning I watched a video about the town of Korah which is located right beside a trash dump. The video footage, provided by Mission Ethiopia, showed scores of people clamoring through the newly dumped load of trash. They were searching for items to sell and ….to eat. I was about to throw out my muffin wrapper when I noticed a child finding a similar wrapper and picking the crumbs off. My waste could be an answered prayer…so how much more my abundance?

The Wolfe Family
Carroll County families are joining in the world-wide effort to end the orphan problem. One family in particular has sold out to the cause. We were privileged to be able donate to the Wolfe Family, a family of6 of us, soon to be 7. All of their children were adopted and they are working hard to bring the newest member of their family, 10 year old, Tianen, home. They met Tianen when they hosted him this past July, in efforts to find him a loving home. What God knew and they quickly found out is that Tianen's forever home was theirs! Thanks to Pure Charity for the image of the family - for more, click here.
